Warranty, Returns and refunds
In the event of a product arriving faulty or damaged, a replacement item will always be sent unless the item is unavailable at which a refund will be given.

If you receive the incorrect item please contact The Bicycle Depot Service Centre who will organise to arrange for the correct item to be sent out to you.
Each item is intended for use only for the purpose described and not for any other purpose.
The Australian Consumer Law has introduced new requirements in respect of warranties against defects for goods supplied on and from 1 January 2012.
You may have purchased parts or accessories where the manufacturer provided a warranty against defects (Manufacturer Warranty). Any Manufacturer Warranty is in addition to other rights and remedies of that you may have at law in relation to the goods. The goods that you purchase come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Naturally, any item to be used by a child requires careful adult selection and use should be under adult supervision. Items must only be used by children of an appropriate age. Guidelines are given but the final decision must be made by the selecting adult taking into account the nature of the child concerned. A photographic image may be required to support your warranty claim. In the instance The Bicycle Depot deems the product to have been misused your warranty claim may not be honoured. Warranty spare part requests can take approximately 3 weeks. Some spare parts might need to be sourced directly from our supplier so longer lead times may apply in which instance you will be notified
Change of Mind Returns
The Bicycle Depot is dedicated to bring you 100% customer satisfaction.
We offer 7–day Change of Mind returns if you change your mind or are simply unsatisfied with our products.
The Bicycle Depot will offer you a refund less 15% restocking fee, using your original payment method provided that:
•You notify us of your intentions to return within 7 days of purchase
•You have clear proof of purchase
•The product and packaging is in original condition, unopened and is in re–saleable condition.
•You accept that a 15% restocking fee will be charged for the return, which will be deducted from the refund amount and;
•Freight paid will not be refundable, and further freight will be charged if we organise the return with our couriers. In the event of a change of mind return, the cost of the return freight is payable by the customer. A full refund of the goods will be issued as soon as the goods arrive back at our warehouse in re-saleable condition (original packaging). If the goods are sent back used or damaged a refund will not be issued.
