Shimano Brake Pads BR-M970 V-Brake Inserts (M70R2 for Severe Conditions)

The Bicycle Depot Technical Top Tip: V-brake pads are often a tight fit in the holder - try carefully lubricating the holder edges with some wax. Be very careful not to push the pad too hard - they break easily! Once inserted, line up the holes for the pin and insert. If unsure, STOP-LOOK-THINK!  A good professional bicycle mechanic will have a Jagwire pad press to make this process easier if you're having trouble.
