The Bicycle Depot Technical Top Tip: A dab of grease on the threads occasionally is a nice thing to do. Remove the crank bolts and check the aren't any crank bolt washers sitting inside the crank extraction threads! Always thread the tool all the way onto the crank and tighten snuggly before turning the extractor. Remember the mechanic's Golden Rules: STOP, LOOK, THINK!
