Lever style FD - so much easier to operate!

After 10 000km on my Kinesis Tripster AT built with R8020 Ultegra (GRX wasn't readily available back when frame was purchased and built up) I have reverted back to the old lever style FD and got rid of the toggle style 8000 series Ultegra. The bike was put together by an exceptional mechanic who did a great job - but I remember being surprised at the additional force required to shift the FD. The LH shifter finally failed last week (some internal plastic parts failed and fell out) so I have replaced the shifter and fitted the earlier generation FD. Silky smooth effortless shifting! Less stress for the STI too. Sometimes 'progress'' isn't all that it's cracked up to be :-)
